We pull dogs from high kill shelters at the last minute, giving them the second chance at a life they deserve.

We work as a foster-based system.

All of our dogs are placed with fosters in order to learn their temperament and teach them good dog skills.

We are always looking for good foster parents, volunteers, and donations!

We are a small operation, relying SOLELY on foster families until our dogs are found their forever homes.

No deed too small. We rely on volunteers to help walk and train dogs as well as set up booths and many more things that keep our organizations running smoothly.

Without the support of its volunteers, Black Dog & Company Rescue could not fulfill its mission of saving homeless dogs.  There are a variety of opportunities with us, from home visits, to our many fundraising events or even fostering a dog!  Wherever your strengths and passions lie, we can use you.  No amount of time you can spare is too little to help.
