Hi there! My name is Declan! I am only about 6 or 7 months old so I am still a puppy! I found myself in a high kill shelter with my momma and my siblings. A nice recue was able to take some of my siblings and Black Dogs & Company Rescue stepped in to take my mom and the rest of us. My momma was an awesome girl and found a home before us kids did, then my sisters and brother found homes and now it is just me. I was a very good boy in my foster home and got lots of love and care from my foster momma, she had to go on a trip for two weeks so I went to stay at another foster home. I was such a good boy that my new foster mom said I could just stay here until I found a new home since I am really no trouble at all! I really love playing with the little people in my foster home! I like playing with their dog too and watching the kittens play. My foster mom takes me for lots of walks and says what a good boy I am. She has been teaching me something called “manners”…whatever they are! I love playing outside and I really love giving everyone I meet kisses! I am a good boy in the house and don’t have accidents, I am also a good boy in my crate when my foster family isn’t home. The volunteers think my momma was a Shepherd Mix and they think my daddy was a Hound of some sort since I have loooong legs and like to follow my nose!
